The Albufereta Beach It is located next to the homonymous neighborhood, north of the city of Alicante, between Serra Grossa and the Tossal de Manises. It received its name from a coastal lagoon that was there. It has a length of approximately 500 meters and about 30 wide. Its sands are dark and very fine grain, with very calm waters because they are very sheltered from the tides.
Recently it has been renovated and modernized, with green areas for walk and rest, and playground. The two cliffs that limit it at its ends are the meeting point for fishing enthusiasts.
Being one semiurban beach It is very popular, so the occupancy rate is usually quite high. But for the high quality of its waters and sands, as for the services offered to bathers, it has the distinction of Blue Flag.
It has a Red Cross post with permanent lifeguards, good surveillance and hygiene service, rental of sun beds and umbrellas, and lots of beach bars, bars and restaurants.
It is an ideal area to practice water sports activities, and if you need to rent, there are premises.
It has a parking suitable for 50 cars with a tree that has just been implanted. But if you prefer you can arrive with the urban bus service or walking.
