A good cheese has nuances on the outside and inside that we must know if we want to enjoy one hundred percent of this food. In the cheese tasting workshops we will learn to differentiate them by exercising our senses in a practical course.
In most cheese tastings in Madrid, they will teach us to differentiate odors, flavors, textures and manufacturing processes (origin, milk and cure) of this product. In addition, we will find courses where we will not only taste cheeses but also learn about pairing.
A recommended tasting is the one offered by Autor Events in Madrid. In this tasting we can taste six types of cheese or choose the option to taste four types of cheese and four types of wine. These workshops are held in groups organized in the center and at previously established times: We can make our reservation from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (On Saturdays there is only attention from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
If we are looking for a more personalized tasting we can opt for the one offered by Los Quesos de L´Amelie (Torrecilla del Puerto street nº5). This workshop has a duration of one hour and a cost of 25 euros. During this activity we will taste a table of French, Spanish or European cheeses.
