Climate – Tahiti

The weather in Tahiti it is tropical, the average temperature ranges between 24ºC and 27ºC, there are two seasons very marked, the warm one from November to March where the humidity index is very high, and the cool one that is usually dry and covers the months of April to October, the days are sunny but at night you can run a strong wind. The rains do not surprise the inhabitants, in the months of December and January they are constant, you can last for weeks.

The best thing about this destination is that the hours of sunshine are inexhaustible, they have 3,000 hours of sunshine per year. The heat is not unbearable, luckily the trade winds of the Pacific blow throughout the day. We recommend traveling to Tahiti between the months of June and October because the weather remains dry and cool, so you will also avoid the rains that occur throughout the year, although do not be surprised to find one, you will see how soon it stops and a bright sun rises. Wear light cotton clothes because of the heat, although it is not enough that you pack a linen sweater, and it is important that you have a waterproof garment on hand.
