The city of It’s Pujols It is the most important tourist center of Formentera. It is located in a bay almost two kilometers long, northeast of the island, in the so-called Levante beach, Near the Tanga and Rocabella beaches.
The residential area of the town is separated from the Es Pujols beach on a pedestrian promenade. There every sunset, the hippies ride a jumble sale of handmade souvenirs. Every night the promenade is the center of animation, due to the large number of restaurants, bars and nightclubs that it brings together.
The beach of Es Pujols is about 500 meters long with very fine and white sands, alternated with sections of low rock where the houses are where fishermen keep their boats. Just off the coast there is a group of islets.
The waters here are calm, ideal for families, to take baths and practice any water sport.
It is remarkable that this beach is adapted for people with movement disabilities since it has ramps and a special chair for the bathroom.
Very close there, in Prima Point, we can visit the circular medieval tower.
