Spacer it is a small islet north of Formentera, very popular with tourists. It has an elongated shape and with cliffs, a large cove to the south and a small cove to the northwest. It is surrounded by small islets like the Illa des Porcs and the Illa des Penjats. It is privately owned, but access is free.
For being one virgin island it lacks any type of building, except for the remains of an old watchtower of the 18th century in the Cap de Berbería, the Espalmador Tower.
To reach Espalmador from Formentera, many walk through the passage of It’s Trocadors When the tide is low But the waters are not very calm in this area, so it is preferable to make the crossing in some boat. There is excursions from the port of La Savina.
The little one is very well known sulphurous mud lagoon that the island has in the center and where all visitors take the opportunity to get muddy. It is very common to see muddy tourists returning to their boats. The feeling can be very rewarding on a day of sun and heat.
Of course, the best beach to take a bath, because of the quality of its waters, is that of Out, a nude beach although not exclusively.
