Holidays – Lanzarote

On the island of Lanzarote You can enjoy an interesting holiday calendar, especially in summer. To the traditional Christmas celebrations, Reyes and Easter, Lanzarote adds others that are of great interest to the visitor.

Carnivals, in February, it is probably the best known of the island’s festivals, where you can find contests for Carnival Queen, Drag Queen, Murgas and comparsas with acid criticism in their songs. In the popular verbenas outdoors, costumes and popular samba music are the ones in charge.
