The Lomo Magullo Protected Landscape It is located in the east of the island of Gran Canaria.
It occupies 176 hectares of the municipalities of Telde and Valsequillo. It is located at a height of between 315 and 650 meters above sea level.
This space, of great landscape value, houses part of the Canyon of the Cernícalos and a unique thermophilic forest in the Canary Islands. Those interested in ecotourism, they find in this protected space a more than interesting place for hiking and excursions.
Beauty is a characteristic of the place. This area is very interesting from the geological point of view of recent basaltic washes. You can leave for your excursion from the neighboring city of Telde, not far from there.
The place has a marked rural character, since there are few traditional farming areas in the region. There is also a residential nucleus but human occupation is very low.
