Morro Jable It is located in the municipality of Pájara, 100 kilometers south of the airport Fuerteventura. What was a small fishing village, due to the arrival of German tourists in 1982, has been transformed and today is one of the favorite tourist destinations. It is currently one of the two most important fishing towns on the island.
This area has kilometers of white sand beaches with all kinds of services and the distinction of Blue flag European Shops, beach bars and restaurants along the Morro Jable Walk, the main area, await with their delicacies just out of the sea.
The fishing port, west of Morro Jable, remains intact, and is one of the best places to walk along the promenade or eat fresh fish. From here we can go with the Jet Foil to the island of Gran Canaria. There is also a marina where the yachts anchor and if you want, you can rent a boat.
The beaches in the area excite those who practice water sports, such as jetski or windsurfing. North of Matorral Lighthouse, also known as Faro de Jandía or Morro Jable, nudism is practiced.
