The Protected Landscape of Pino Santo It is located in the northwest area of the island of Gran Canaria. It is an area of 3,012 hectares of rural character and with incredible landscape beauty, which extend in the municipalities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Brígida, Vega de San Mateo and Teror.
This representative ecosystem serves as a refuge for migratory species, endemic island flora and geological formations of different lavas that make it unique.
It is one of the most beautiful places on the island, because of its picturesqueness and because it contains some treasures such as Viera y Clavijo Botanical Garden, world reference research center, treasures such as the dragon tree located in the municipality of Santa Brígida and considered natural heritage, or andarchaeological foundations like El Maipez.
