Although for many, climbing is an extreme adventure sport, it is a sport that every day adds more followers who practice it not only because of the issue of physical activity, but also, because it requires a lot of mental and physical strength.
Within the variants of mountaineering where climbing is located, we have artificial, group, wall, sports, classic, and solo climbing.
In solo climbing, the self-insured of our team is carried out with a rope and without having a partner, that is, if we have to place anchors or force points, we must perform them in the climbing process without having a support to do this.
Among the techniques that we can use to insure ourselves we have: tying ourselves with knots as we ascend, using devices for this process such as the silent partner and soloaid. In both cases we will require more time than normal to climb as we have to go down in rappel to recover our equipment and go back up to place new anchor points.
To climb alone we only need to explore natural spaces and look for an ideal rocky mountain to climb and know how to control our body both physically and in mind.
