The Louvre Museum It is the most important in France and the most famous in the world, for the majestic collections that adorn its enclosure. It influences, therefore, enormously in other museums and amazes everyone who visits it. The museum is so large that it is impossible to see all its rooms in a single day. But what can be seen in one day is more than enough to satisfy the most demanding observers.
The Louvre, which in 1190 was a fortress, is the great museum of France mainly devoted to impressionist art. The works found there are from 1848 or before this date. And those that exceed this time can be seen in front of the Louvre, in the Musée d’Orsay.
In the museum we can enjoy the Venus de Milo, the Mona Lisa, among other works of art, and the Tuileries Gardens on the outskirts of the museum. The price of a ticket to appreciate the wonders of the museum is € 8.50, but this does not include some special rooms.
The opening hours in the museum are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. With the exception of some days, such as Christmas and New Year. And on Wednesdays and Fridays it is open for longer, until 9:45 p.m.
