To prepare this traditional Egyptian dish we will need the following ingredients:

  • 3 glasses of chicken broth
  • 1 glass of water
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 kg of chicken or lamb meat
  • Half a glass of tomato sauce
  • 3 pita breads
  • 500 g of rice
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
  • Olive oil

Recipe

This preparation is traditionally homemade, so the way to cook it can vary in each territory. However, these are the basic steps that are usually followed:
