The railway company that operates all the services offered in Scotland is the First Scotrial and is supported by the Nationa Rail Enquires that is responsible for providing information on schedules and rates 24 hours a day.
Its stations are two: the main one located in the city center Waverley station, located in Princess street, with access to food stalls, a shop and a pub. There is also the Haymarket Station, located at the crossroads of Dalry Road with Haymarket, in the West End. In addition there are smaller stations in Newcraighall, South Gyle and in New Edinburgh Park.
One of the train services leaves every fifteen minutes from Glasgow to Edinburgh, the journey takes 50 minutes.
Waverley and Haymarket stations are within walking distance of the old case and the new part of the city. You have a variety of taxi and bus services at the stations.
