Mallorca is the only island in the Balearic Islands that has a train.
The famous electric train that runs through the Serra de Tramuntana, retains its original character. Since 1912 this railway goes from Palma de Mallorca to Sóller. The tour lasts one hour and crosses 13 tunnels in the Sierra. The round trip ticket is € 17. There are seven daily departures.
Also from Palma there is a modern train that passes by Inca and ends his journey in Manacor And it arrives in just over an hour. It leaves every 9 minutes between 6 and 10 pm, and costs € 2.80.
There is another line that in 20 minutes travels from Inca to Sa Pobla, with a € 1.80 ticket.
