Train – Venice

Within Venice there is no train service, but the Santa Lucia Railway Station It is one of the accesses to the city and is at a nerve point. Located just in front of Great channel, at the stop Ferrovia of the vaporetto, and in the sestiere of Cannaregio. This area is populated with small hotels and many shops.

The station has a very modern style, although it was built at the end of World War II, the characteristic style of fascism.

If we stay in Mestre, outside of Venice, we can cross with the train in about 15 minutes through the Liberty Bridge. The trains have an approximate frequency of 10 minutes and the value of the one-way ticket is € 1.80.

If we cross the nearby one Constitution Bridge, which was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, we arrived at the Bus Station in Piazzale De Roma.
