La Rioja is an autonomous community in Spain well known for its wine production under the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin, which makes this destination ideal for a wine tasting that challenges our senses.
As consumers it is ideal that we know about the history of wine, its influence on popular culture, its denominations of origin, varieties and pairing so that we can better enjoy what we are drinking.
In Rioja we can follow the wine tasting course offered by Riojatrek (Francisco de Quevedo 12, 6º D-Logroño, La Rioja, 26006). In this course of approximately two hours we will learn to distinguish the different types of wine, nuances, methods of elaboration, the wood used in the barrels and others. Includes the tasting of six wines of the D.O.C. Rioja and has a price of twenty euros per person.
This company also offers us the option of a private tasting at a price of 17 euros per person and lasting an hour and a half. In this wine tasting in La Rioja, we will learn about the nuances of wine, distinguish between types of wines, pairings, and even make a correct comparison between French and Spanish wines.
